Sense of use

Multiple porting is a type of porting an existing number to another person. With this porting, you can transfer several numbers at once. Multiple porting is different for each country

United States

First, the user must fill in the Current Carrier field - the provider that currently provides services for this number. Also at the first step, the user must select the date of the transfer. The transfer date must be at least 7 days and up to 3 months from today. On the next page, the user must enter information about himself. Porting multiple numbers in the United States requires specific information about the account owner, company details, and the numbers to be ported. Telgea uses this information to create a compliant Power of Attorney (POA) to authorize the porting process with the user current carrier. Information Required to Create the POA
  1. Name of Account Owner
  2. Company Name
  3. Address:
  • The registered address associated with your account.
  • This must match exactly with the address on file with your current carrier.
  1. City, State, and ZIP Code:
  • Complete location details linked to the account.
  • Verify this information on your most recent invoice or account records.
  1. Email Address:
  • The email address associated with your account.
  • This will be used for correspondence and verification purposes.
  1. Recent Invoice:
  • A copy of your most recent invoice from your current carrier.
  • This ensures that all account details, including the numbers and billing information, align with the carrier’s records.

United Kingdom

First, the user must fill in the Current Carrier field - the provider that currently provides services for this number. Also at the first step, the user must select the date of the transfer. The transfer date must be at least 7 days and up to 3 months from today. On the next page, the user must enter information about himself. Porting multiple numbers in the UK requires detailed information about user’s company and billing account. Telgea uses this information to create a compliant Customer Letter of Authorization (CLOA) to authorize the porting process with user’s current carrier. Information Required to Create the CLOA

  • The legal name of the user organization.
  1. Company Registration Number:
  • The official registration number of the user company in the UK.
  1. Billing Account Number:
  • The account number assigned by the user current carrier for billing purposes.
  1. Billing Address:
  • The address registered with the user current carrier for billing purposes.
  • Ensure this matches exactly with what is on file with the user provider.
  1. Town/City, County, and Postcode:
  • Full details of the billing location linked to the user account.

Denmark

First, the user must fill in the Current Carrier field - the provider that currently provides services for this number. Also at the first step, the user must select the date of the transfer. The transfer date must be at least 7 days and up to 3 months from today. On the next page, the user must enter information about himself. Porting multiple numbers in Denmark involves collecting specific details about user’s organization and current carrier. Telgea uses this information to draft a compliant Power of Attorney (POA) or Letter of Authorization (LOA) to authorize the porting process on user’s behalf.   • Denmark’s unique company registration number.

  • The name and title of the person authorized to approve the porting process.

France

First, the user must fill in the Current Carrier field - the provider that currently provides services for this number. Also at the first step, the user must select the date of the transfer. The transfer date must be at least 7 days and up to 3 months from today. On the next page, the user must enter information about himself. Information Required

  • A person who has the right to request a number portability.
  • The number is transferred personally - your full name
  • If the number is registered to a company, the name of the person authorized to represent this company is indicated

Germany

First, the user must select the Current Carrier - the provider that currently provides services for this number. Also at the first step, the user must select the date of the transfer. The transfer date must be at least 7 days and up to 3 months from today. Porting multiple numbers in Germany requires precise information about your company and current carrier details. Telgea uses this information to create a compliant Power of Attorney (POA) to authorize the porting process with your current provider. Information Required to Create the POA

  2. Street Address and House Number
  • The complete address linked to account with the current carrier.
  1. Postcode and City
  • The postal code and city associated with account.
  1. Current Carrier
  2. Current Contract End Date
  • The expiration date of existing contract with the current carrier.
  1. Recent Invoice
While the user can request a specific porting date when submitting his/her number transfer in the Telgea Portal, this date is often provisional. German carriers typically review the request and may reject it due to mismatched information - such as lack of porting opt-in from the existing carrier or details that don’t match their records. If this happens, the details must be corrected and resubmitted, which resets the timeline. Once the port is accepted, the provider will issue a new confirmed date, usually 6–7 business days from acceptance, which may be later than originally requested.

Sweden

First, the user must select the Current Carrier - the provider that currently provides services for this number. Also at the first step, the user must select the date of the transfer. The transfer date must be at least 7 days and up to 3 months from today. Porting multiple numbers in Sweden involves preparing accurate documentation to authorize Telgea to manage the porting process on your behalf. Information Required to Create the Letter of Authorisation (LOA) / Power of Attorney (POA)
  1. Authorized Signatory
  • The name, title, and signature of the individual authorized to approve the transfer.

  3. Organization Number
  • Sweden’s 12-digit Organization Number
  1. List of Numbers in E164 Format
  • Provide each number or number range the user wish to port

Flow

After completing the individual (country-specific) steps, the user is taken to the porting itself. The user can:
  1. Select a person for porting
  2. Create a new person
  3. Upload a CSV file with people
Selecting a person When you select a person for porting, a dropdown opens, where all the information about the person is already entered. The user only needs to enter the number to be ported. Creating a person When creating a new person, the user opens a completely empty dropdown for creating a person. The user must enter
  1. Name
  2. Last name
  3. Valid unique email address
  4. Phone number to be ported
After selecting/creating a person, the user goes to the last step, where they can add another person to the porting (return to the previous step), edit information about an existing person, or finish porting.
